Crossroads 2
In Hot Springs we don't have much to do.
Most of the time we're on the phone
or walking downtown.
But there's nothing to do down there either.
If there's someone we know,
we will pull them over
and tell them to take us for a few rides around town
and then we ask them to take us home.
Sometimes when I can't find anyone,
I sit at home,
write letters or poems.
Sometimes I watch TV
or listen to music.
When school gets out,
I go home and study.
Then I fall asleep.
When I wake up,
I call someone
and see what they're doing.
On my free times
I sometimes baby-sit
or I spend the night with a friend,
and we call people up
and ask what they're doing tonight.
Sometimes I'll try to stay home more often,
but it doesn't work when you have parents
and friends that yell at you
until you go somewhere with them.
So normally,
I just live
or just not answer the phone
if I don't want to go anywhere.
If its on a school night,
I never go out.
I'll say I'm sick
or something
so they will quit asking me
if I want to go downtown.
